We are looking for Maternity Cover for the next 9-12 months (immediate start available).
We are looking to recruit a Purchasing Administrator. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with both new and existing suppliers. The focus of this role is to support the purchasing team to reduce costs and ensure we meet our delivery targets.
The Key Responsibilities of the role include:
- Generating Purchasing paperwork including, but not limited to, purchase orders, reviewing and forwarding NNCs, Amendments, credits and cancellations.
- Progressing Open Orders and keeping the team up to date with anticipated delivery dates
- Checking in with our supplier base on a regular basis
- Updating operating system with accurate due dates / memo updates
- Answering the phone
- Communicating and liaising with all departments within the company
You will also need to develop good working relationships with all departments within the company.

Successful candidates will have:
- Previous Admin experience, ideally within a Purchasing team but training will be provided.
- Strong telephone manner
- A good grasp of MS Office
- Technical / Engineering background is an advantage, but not essential.
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Vacancy due to Maternity Leave, Office Based
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 0830-1715, Friday: 0830-1300
Salary and Benefits:
- £21,000-£26,000 per annum depending on experience (pro rata)

Experience and Education:
- Minimum A-Level or equivalent (desirable)
- Full, clean driving licence (desirable)
